About the United Way of Hartsville

Your United Way of Hartsville is composed of 18 local agencies who provide assistance and care to all members of the greater Hartsville community, regardless of age, race, gender or economic class. Agency services include: young and indigent care; aid for mental and physical disabilities; nutrition assistance (meal preparation and delivery); disaster relief; literacy training; emergency medical and rescue service and training; and much, much more.

Your United Way agencies serve one out of every four community members, usually at NO COST to the recipient. Many of these agencies could not provide their services without the generous support of the community through volunteer efforts and contributions. Many, in fact, would not even exist! Every member of the Hartsville United Way family is very appreciative of your efforts and contributions. Please think twice before you say "no"!

Your United Way and its agencies can touch - DO touch - every one of us! As you review our list of member agencies, ask yourself this question: "How many of these organizations have touched my life, or the lives of my family?" Chances are, there will be more than two or three. Your gift to United Way of Hartsville will return to you in many significant ways, and many times over.
